The 48th school-conference of young scientists “Information Technologies and Systems” (ITiS) will be held from September 16 to 20, 2024 at Voronezh State University. The organizer will be the Institute for Problems of Information Transmission named after. A.A. Kharkevich of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IITP RAS).

The purpose of the conference is to create a space for the exchange of scientific experience and the creation of new collaborations. Participants will not only be able to discuss current issues related to the transmission and processing of information in living and technical systems, but also attend plenary lectures by leading Russian and world scientists. Also during the conference, scientists will present to each other the results of their research in the format of reports and poster sessions.

The event program is dedicated to the following areas:

• Modern methods of Artificial Intelligence in fundamental and industrial tasks;
• Large language models for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies;
• Telecommunications technologies of the future: wireless local area, cellular, satellite and quantum data transmission networks;
• Mathematics, theoretical physics and problems of quantum computing;
• Info-, cogno-, neuro-processes in living systems;
• Physical and mathematical foundations of new technologies;
• Modern linguistics: semantic analysis, creation of large text bodies, language modeling.

The deadline for students and participants of the IITP RAS summer school (track “My first article”) is August 18, 2024.

Only those papers that contain new scientific results that have not previously been published or presented at other conferences can be submitted to the conference.

All accepted works will be included in the collection of proceedings of the school-conference. ITiS collections are indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index.
