Students who have completed the 1st or 2nd year are invited to the XXII Summer School «Modern Mathematics» named after Vitaly Arnold. Classes will be held from July 18 to July 29, 2023 in Dubna at the Ratmino rest home (Moscow region).

The registration fee will be approximately 19,000 rubles, the amount includes payment for meals and accommodation. The amount may be reduced for students with serious scientific achievements, including achievements in intellectual competitions. The organizers will also meet those who have encountered significant difficulties in paying the full registration fee.

  • The following are exempted from paying the registration fee:
  • winners of the LXXXV and LXXXVI Moscow Mathematical Olympiad;
  • winners of the All-Russian Olympiad in Mathematics (2022–2023);
  • members of the RF team at the International Mathematical Olympiad (2021–2023).

The school program includes:

  • training courses;
  • communication with leading academicians and professors;
  • optional: football, volleyball tournaments, etc.

Preliminary consent to conduct classes was given by I. V. Arzhantsev, V. A. Vatutin, A. A. Gaifullin, S. O. Gorchinsky, D. N. Zaporozhets, G. A. Kabatyansky, A. Ya. Kanel-Belov, M. A. Korolev, E. D. Kosov, I. A. Panin, G. Yu. Panina, T. E. Panov and others.

Accommodation will be provided in spacious rooms united in 20 boxes in two two-story buildings. Two double or triple rooms, united in one box, have a common entrance hall, shower and toilet. Each room is equipped with a balcony, built-in wardrobe, upholstered furniture and a desk.

The rest house «Ratmino» is located 100 km from the Moscow Ring Road along the Dmitrov highway, at the confluence of the Volga and Dubna rivers. The complex of buildings is located in a relic pine forest, seven kilometers from Dubna station.

The School will be organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences (Department of Mathematics), the V.A.Steklov Institute of Mathematics, the Faculty of Mathematics of the Higher School of Economics, Moscow State University and the Moscow Center for Continuing Mathematical Education.
