The head of the laboratory, Alexander Gasnikov, headed one of the four nominations of the Sber Scientific Award «AI in Science». The award is aimed at supporting Russian and foreign scientists working in Russia who are actively engaged in research activities, as well as opening up new prospects for the development of science and technology.

The nomination for young researchers «AI in science» appeared in 2024. Prizes for outstanding scientific achievements obtained using artificial intelligence will additionally be awarded to scientists under the age of 35 in each of the three main categories.

German Gref, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, and Alexander Kuleshov, Rector of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, became co-chairs of the award committee this year.

The award ceremony will take place at the end of 2024. The total prize fund of the award is 76.5 million rubles. More information about the award can be found on the website.
