Applications Open for the B.T. Polyak Scholarship for Contributions to Numerical Optimization Methods

The application period for the B.T. Polyak Scholarship for contributions to the development of numerical optimization methods is now open. The application deadline is September 7, 2025. The scholarship will be awarded for one semester.

To participate in the competition, applicants must submit a CV listing their publications, information on participation in conferences and project schools, as well as other relevant achievements. The selection will be made by an expert commission chaired by Professor Andrey Raigorodskiy, Director of the Phystech School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

The scholarship program was established in February 2021 to support students and postgraduate students of the Phystech School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (FPMI) engaged in research activities in the field of numerical optimization methods.
