Registration for the free summer school of machine learning (SMILES)is available until June 15. The course will be held from August 20 to 31, 2023 online and in person in Belokurikha Mountain, Altai Krai region.
The goal of the school is to unite Russian talents around the problems of artificial intelligence. The topics of the lectures are very different: the construction of modern predictive machine learning models taking into account physical and mathematical models of processes for solving engineering problems of sustainable development, ESG risk assessment and optimization of management decisions to reduce them.
Who are we waiting for:
- masters and postgraduates of leading Russian universities;
- young scientists who are actively involved in research in the field of machine learning and its application for modeling technical and physical systems.
Potential participants must provide the following documents:
1. Summary;
2. Motivation letter;
3. A brief summary of the results of one of his studies (no more than 1 page in pdf format without taking into account the list of references, Times New Roman font, 12th/14th size, 1/1.5 interval). Preferably, the research topic should be in the field of machine learning and data analysis or their applications.
The participants who have passed the competitive selection must prepare and present at the conference a poster with the results described in the abstract. This is a long tradition of summer schools: we want to introduce your works to all participants of the school. Only with the poster you will get access to SMILES.

The theme of the poster may not be related to machine learning and data analysis. In this case, the author should also present his thoughts on how machine learning and data analysis could allow solving the problem more efficiently.
