Applications for the Yandex student camp on mathematics in AI are open until May 26. It will be held from July 19 to July 31 at Innopolis University. You can register using the link. The selection results will be announced on June 18.

Senior undergraduate students of Russian universities who study Computer Science are invited to participate. Candidates should also:

— know the basics of Python;
— be familiar with linear and semilinear algebra;
— understand problems of optimization of scalar functions;
— have an understanding of discrete probability theory with conditional mathematical expectation;
— It will be a plus if they know the basics of machine learning, including deep learning.

Participants will work with structured matrices and neural networks, get acquainted with Multi-agent LLM and Digital Twins, have team work with like-minded people and communication with IT professionals. During their free time, students will get acquainted with Yandexoids and the company culture, meet experts and participate in events in the atmosphere of a technological city and campus. The camp is free, travel and accommodation are paid by the organizer.

The first week will be devoted to fundamental mathematics. From the second week, learning the basics of AI will begin. The format of the defense is chosen by the participants independently: it can be a project or an exam.
