Laboratory employee Alexander Beznosikov received the “AI Leaders” national award for his contribution to the development of artificial intelligence technologies. The award ceremony took place on November 23 at the website of the international conference AI Journey 2023. Russian President Vladimir Putin also mentioned Alexander Beznosikov during his speech at the conference.

“I'm honored to receive a prize. Behind this there is a lot of work not only from me, but also from my colleagues. All our projects are teamwork, where everyone has an important role! Therefore, I perceive the award as recognition of our common work, and this is definitely cool! This award was given for a combination of achievements in the field of research into optimization methods in AI training. I would like to thank Alexander Vladimirovich Gasnikov, my friends with whom we took our first steps in science, all the guys with whom we worked and continue to work, as well as my mother!” — Alexander Beznosikov said.

The Artificial Intelligence Leaders project is being implemented by the ANO Digital Economy and the AI Alliance with the support of the Russian Government. Its goal is not only to accelerate the adoption of AI in the economy, social sphere and national security, but also in high-tech business.

Three categories of participants are awarded: scientists, companies and regions. In particular, researchers are awarded a monetary reward in the amount of 1 million rubles. The award ceremony took place in Moscow at the international conference on artificial intelligence AI Journey.
