Three laboratory staff members successfully defended their dissertations
Laboratory staff Alexander Lobanov, Artyom Agafonov and Nikita Pletnev successfully defended their PhD theses and received the degree of Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences. The scientific supervisor for all three was Alexander Gasnikov, head of the laboratory. The event took place on December 24, 2025.
Alexander Lobanov defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Gradient-Free Methods for Convex Optimization under Noise Conditions".
Artyom Agafonov defended his thesis on the topic "Inexact High-order methods".
Nikita Pletnev presented his paper "Применение градиентных методов оптимизации для решения некоторых обратных задач математической физики".
