The Second International Conference on Computational Optimization ICOMP 2025 to Be Held in Abu Dhabi

The second international scientific conference on computational optimization, ICOMP 2025, will take place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from October 17 to 19, 2025. Registration is open until September 1, and the full paper submission deadline is August 15.

The conference will bring together researchers, developers, and experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational technologies. The program includes presentations by leading scientists from Russia and top international research institutions, including EPFL, the Weierstrass Institute, Los Alamos National Laboratory, École Polytechnique (Paris), the University of Southampton, and the Higher School of Economics (HSE).

Key topics of the conference include:
— Neural network optimization and scaling algorithms
— Distributed and parallel computing for big data
— Quantum and optical computing paradigms
— Applications in the Internet of Things (IoT)

Alexander Gasnikov, head of the organizing committee, noted that the first ICOMP conference was held in 2024 in Innopolis and gathered participants from seven countries.

“ICOMP was originally conceived as an international scientific platform. We maintain high standards for accepted papers, with a focus on fundamental areas—from stochastic optimization to computational linear algebra. These fields are critical for breakthroughs in neural network training. Our goal is to establish ICOMP as a must-attend event for mathematicians and AI developers,” Gasnikov said.

More information about the conference and submission deadlines is available on the official ICOMP website.
